Feuerschirm mit Pfaumotiv und Schmetterling. Interessant ist, dass der Pfau zwar die Farben des männlichen Pfaus aufweist, aber nicht den prunkvollen Schweif. Aquarell/Gouache auf Aquarellpapier, aufgebracht auf hellblau eingefärbtem Papier; aufgeklebte Glodbordüren; Altersflecken; Gedrechselter, schwarz gebeizter und politierter Griff.

Fire screen with peacock motive and butterfly. It is interesting that the peacock displays the characteristic colours of the male but without the sumptuous tail. Water-colour/gouache on paper for water-colours, fixed on blue-stained paper; glued-on golden borders; stained; turned, black dyed and polished handle. End 18/beginning of 19 c. (?)
