Satinfächer mit Farblithographie von Lauronce. Lauronce erfand 1881 die Farblithographie auf Seide. Hier stellt er die antike Szene in die Zeit um den Anfang des 19. Jahrhunderts. Die mittlere Figur (vermutlich Juno/Hera, durch Hut als verheiratete Frau gekennzeichnet) trägt Empire-Mode, die anderen 2 Göttinen tragen antikisierende, toga-artige Gewänder. Ganz links könnte Aphrodite/Venus sein, da links von ihr eine Laute steht, was als Liebessymbol interpretiert werden kann. Athene/Minerva hat keines ihrer Attribute bei sich. Paris betrachtet die Damen durch ein Lorgnon, Amor deutet ihm die Richtung. Frankreich, um 1890.

Silk satin fan with chromolithography by Lauronce. He invented this technique on silk in 1881. The scene is put into the period of Empire. The person in the center is probably Juno/Hera (the hat a sign of married status). she is dressed in a period dress. The 2 other godesses are dressed in pastiche antique dresses. The left perosn could be Venus/Aphrodite, the lute at her side a love symbol. Artemis/Minerva does not display any of her attributes. Paris is also dressed in period outfit and looks though a lorgnon at the women, guided by Amor. France, approx. 1890.
