Dieser Fächer ist aufwendig gestaltet und hat ein prachtvolles Perlmutt-Gestell. Seine handkolorierten Lithographien zeigen so ziemlich alle Facetten der Liebes-Symbolik. Die Umrahmungen der Lithographien sind teilweise aus goldgestanztem Papier. Interessant ist die Rückseite, die bunte, lustige Jahrmarktszenen darstellt. Vielleicht, um eine sehr junge Braut zu amüsieren? Frankreich, ca. 1860.
This lithographic fan with hand-colored scenes has a wonderful mother-of-pearl monture. The images show almost all love symbols. The frames are made of punched golden ornaments. The reverse is of particular interest as it shows colourful scenes of a country fair. Maybe to amuse a very young bride? France, approx. 1860.
