| "Women do not want to be seen as receiving special
treatment. […] Support [may be given] through empowerment that allows
to avoid an essentialist vision of gender. A focus on the user is necessary,
as well as space for personal experience". Lisa Pitt @ the "Gender and ICT Symposium", Brussels, 20 January 2004 |

| WISE tries to identify problems women entrepreneurs
in ICT professions may face, suggest solutions and define strategies to
improve the working environment towards gender-awareness. Such an endeavour
must start at the main target group: the women themselves. Participating
in the WISE initiative, women will have first-hand opportunity to influence
results at "reality level". Share your experience and benefit
from the results! BENEFITS:
