LEKTOR workshop/ Lexelerator presentation in Greece

Location: INA - South Eastern Europe Telecommunications and Informatics Research Institute 9th Klm Thessaloniki-Thermi, Greece The Association of ICT compamies of Northern Greece (SEPVE) has successfully completed the workshop entitled: ”Legal issues in e-business”. The workshop was conducted in the framework of the project: Lektor “Legal Knowledge Transfer Accelerator for SME cluster and Digital Business Ecosystems”, which is funded by the IST priority of the 6th Framework Programme, in which SEPVE and the European Multimedia Forum are participating. More precisely, after the presentation of the LEKTOR project and the Lexelerator platform (www.lexelerator.eu), the professor of the University of Macedonia, Dr Evgenia Alexandropoulou presented the sensitive subject of the “Management of personal data in the business area (legal regulation). The second part of the workshop was dedicated to the Intellectual rights and the legal framework that applies on the Internet that was presented by Mrs Anna Efthimiou with her authority as a lawyer. At the end of the workshop the participants had the time to discuss and the opportunity to deposit their queries to the guest speakers as well as to interact with each other, about their legal issues in e-busniess. Chairman of the workshop was Mr Ioannis Bogdis, journalist – manager of Northern Greece Financial & IT publications Motorpress Hellas “Xrimatistirio”.
