Ein "Bauernfächer" / A "peasant's fan"

Dieser Fächer ist vermutlich flämisch und in mehreren Aspekten seltsam:
Das Thema: Eine Bauerfamilie sitzt im Freien, bei einem frugalen Mahl. Die Familienmitglieder sind liebevoll gemalt, es scheint, von einem professionellen Miniaturmaler. Dafür spricht auch die perfekte Raumnutzung und Persepektive. Das macht die Familie aber nicht attraktiver!
Rechts im Vordergrund sitzt die ältere Tochter beim Spitzenklöppeln. Weiter rechts liegt Gerät, das nach Waschtag ausschaut.
Die Materialien: Trotz des bäuerlichen Themas, das durch seinen Realismus keinen Anschein an Idylle erweckt, wurde das einfache Papierblatt, das in Gouache bemalt ist, mit aufwendiger Paillettenarbeit geschmückt. In der Himmelsmitte eine strahlende Sonne, sowie weitere Seitenornamente, alle an das Papier angenäht.
Die Stäbe sind aus geschnitztem Schildpatt, mit Stahlpiquet und versilbert. Die Deckstäbe sind oberhalb der Schulter aus Elfenbein, geschnitzt, versilbert und mit Stahlpiquet verziert.
Der Dorn besteht aus zwei Bergkristallen im Diamantschliff.
Aufgrund der Grösse und der Blatt/Stäbe Ratio wird man ihn Ende 18./Anfang 19. Jahrhundert einordnen.

Die Frage die sich stellt: Wer benutzte einen solchen, materiell aufwendigen, thematisch unattraktiven Fächer? Eine Bauernfrau in der Kirche?

This fan is probably Flemish and in many aspects particular:
The topic: A peasant family outdoors, eating a frugale meal. The family members are carefully painted, by a professional miniature painter, it seems. The use of the leaf space as well as the perspective vouch for a professional. Helas, this does not make the family more attractive!
On the right side one sees the elder daughter making bobbin-laces. Farther right, one sees implements used for laundering.
The material: Despite of the peasant theme that is far too realistic to be idyllic, the fan features luxury decoration: The single fan leave painted with gouache displays spangles and sequins sewn onto it. A huge sun in the middle of the sky, and similar side ornaments.
The sticks are made of carved tortoise-shell, with steel piquet inlay and leaf silver. The guard stick are above the shoulder made of carved ivory, again decorated with steel piquet and leaf silver .
The Rivet consists of two cristals in diamond cut.
Due to the size and the leaf/sticks ration, the fan will date from end 18/beginning 19th century.

The question that arises: Who used such a fan, with material luxury and thematic unattractiveness? A peasant woman going to church?
