Rotbraun eingefärbter Straussenfederfächer mit Schildpatt Gestell. Die Federn sind "getrimmt", sodass sie lockiger und dichter ausschauen. Die Stäbe sind aus dunklem, teilweise geflecktem Schildpatt mit Bügel, an dem eine rotbraune Kordel mit Quaste hängt. Frankreich (oder Belgien), ca. 1900.

Reddish brown dyed ostrich feather fan with tortoise-shell sticks. THe feathers are curled to enhance their thickness. The sticks are made of dark tortoise-shell, partly mottled. The loop is of the same material. A reddish brown cord with a tassel is fixed to the loop. France (or Belgium), around 1900.
